Gorgeous Wedding at Footprints

A handsome groom and gorgeous, gorgeous bride shared their happy day at Footprints with super lovely friends and family. The sun shone on Grace Bay beach for their cocktail party, food, music and dancing and even a fire dancer !

Congratulations to one of our present guests ! He is five and has determinedly gone out with Doug's guys from Ski Nautique every morning until he could ski on the longline for half a mile ! Hi Five !!!

Rays on the Rays

Just wanted to share an amazing thing that happened whilst walking along Grace Bay on Providenciales;

It was reaching sunset, and time for walking the dog ................the sun was blood orange in the sky creating a magical light and the ocean was shimmering. Silver fish were jumping and I was watching them, quite mesmerising ..... I then notice there were about four Rays (playing or having supper - I could not tell !) in amongst the group. A great sunset and wonderful memory.

Mango Tango

Mango Reef Restaurant moved to another Reef ! Or at least another resort ..... They used to be located at Royal West Indies, but now they can be tracked down at the Alexandra Resort. We were really disappointed when we first heard of them going walkabout, but I have to say, 'Wow - their new home looks fantastic !' Loads of different outside decks, lit with sparkly lights and right on the beach, as well as an undercover deck too ! The food is just as fab, my favourite dish ever is the Lobster Open Ravioli - yum yum. The Margaritas are just as good too !

I really like the staff there, they are friendly and 'remember you'. They know your kids, relations, guests which is really especially lovely.

Well done Mango Reef Restaurant, and no, I am not on commission just like to applaud good food, reasonable prices and good service !

Access All Areas !

At last !

When we built Footprints we were adamant with our architects and builders that all areas could be accessed in a wheelchair. So ramps were included, shady terraces with sea views, shower rooms, doors wide enough, pathways from bedroom to pool, wheelchair friendly closets and low hanging rails and a bedroom on the lower level large enough for the guest and carer. All this and still look like a luxury villa and not a hospital !

Yesterday, all these facilities realised their potential when Fred came to stay with us for a couple of weeks! First stop ..... to look at the ocean and Grace Bay beach from the deck and warm his bones !

Every battle with the architect was worthwhile !!!!

They arrived in a truck hired from Grace Bay rentals which was perfect for the family and wheelchair, now they can relax and enjoy their family time.
